Speaking at the Soroptimist Society

Last night I had the pleasure of speaking about Remnant Revolution's journey to the Soroptimist International HQ in Cirencester.
Soroptimist International is a global network of professional women working to improve the lives of women and girls through education, empowerment and opportunity. It was inspiring to meet such an engaged, thoughtful group and to see just how closely our values and ethos align.
Women-led organisations play a vital role in supporting women and girls as they navigate work, family, confidence, identity and change. There is something uniquely powerful about women creating spaces for other women, spaces built on understanding, lived experience and shared purpose.
I was proud to share the impact Remnant Revolution is making locally: building skills, confidence, community and creating fairly paid employment for local women through craft and sewing, while tackling environmental waste through reuse and repurposing fabrics for good.
