About the Drapers Conscious Fashion Awards

The Drapers Conscious Fashion Awards recognize the progress the fashion and textile industry is making in reducing its environmental impact and improving working conditions throughout the supply chain. Originally launched as the Drapers Sustainable Fashion Awards in 2020, this market-leading program has evolved to reflect the industry’s commitment to embedding sustainability as a core value. Today, sustainability in fashion and textiles is no longer an option—it’s a necessity.

These prestigious awards are guided by the United Nations-backed Sustainable Development Goals and judged by an independent panel of experts. By spotlighting best practices, the awards drive collaboration and learning across the sector, helping fashion brands and businesses change for the better.
The Drapers Conscious Fashion Summit
The winners for all awards will be announced at the Drapers Conscious Fashion Summit, which will bring together more than 300 industry leaders—from C-suite executives to heads of departments—representing leading fashion brands, innovative start-ups, SMEs, and suppliers.

As we approach the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, with just five years remaining, this event is a crucial opportunity to collaborate on how fashion retail can improve its social impact across the entire supply chain. Discussions will also highlight innovative approaches to products and production, setting the foundation for a more sustainable, transparent, and ethical future.

Empowering Women & Championing Sustainability
At Remnant Revolution, our mission is deeply rooted in two key principles: empowering women-led communities and championing sustainability. Our work is also underpinned by the United Nations-backed Sustainable Development Goals, aligning our efforts with a global movement for a more sustainable and equitable future.
Empowering Local Women
We collaborate with local women from diverse backgrounds, investing in and training skilled seamstresses to handcraft our products. Remnant Revolution’s purpose is to transform beautiful remnant fabrics as a way to upskill, empower and financially liberate women. Through our sewing workshops, we strive to promote self-sufficiency while strengthening community bonds for a more unified future. Additionally, we are committed to donating a portion of our profits to local children's charities, ensuring that our work extends beyond our business and into the lives of those who need it most.
Saving Fabric from Landfills
Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We exclusively source our fabric from factory surplus and deadstock suppliers that would otherwise be destined for landfill. By giving these materials a second life, we not only reduce waste but also create unique, high-quality homeware that tells a story of renewal and responsibility.

The winners will be announced on Wednesday 12th March and we couldn’t be more excited! Regardless of the outcome, this milestone already feels like a victory. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us along this journey—this recognition belongs to you just as much as it does to us.
